Take a moment to reflect on the power of suggestion. Someone else sneezes, you get the urge to sneeze. Other people had In-N-Out or sushi and suddenly you crave it. Watch a sad move and you get all sniffly... or perhaps read a depressing book and get all touchy.

I think my world has been shaken. Southwest Airlines no longer gives you little plastic boarding cards. They have decided to enter the 20th century (note that it is now the 21st) and give out paper boarding passes with boarding groups on them. Some level of comfort and familiarity remains, however; it is still open seating.

ever had the experience of of working harder than you've ever worked, feeling like you are doing just about everything you can possibly do, taking less than minimal time for yourself and then being told that you are under-performing? I have, and its not a comfortable feeling, especially when you have just returned from 7 of the hardest hours of work you have ever done (for the organization that accuses you of not working enough). Alas it does no good to complain, but it feels good to vent.

an interesting thought...
if you could travel faster than the speed of light you could eventually catch up and pass the light reflected from a certain event in the past and watch as that event unfolds. So its not exactly time travel since you can't participate in the events, but it would be like watching history at a drive in theatre. If you ask me, which you haven't but I am telling you anyway, this is probably the closest we'll get to time travel.

So I have had my cousins ex-roomie from college, Justin, crashing in my room for about a week now. Its strange, I mean prior to now I have talked to him and knew who he was and everything but now my life is seriously intersecting with my cousins. Justin used to spend tons of time with my cousin and my brother, then the other day I was hanging out with him and he invites my younger cousin over. So its like when he was in school he hung out with older generation of my family and now that he graduated he is spending tons of time with the younger generation. Strange.
